The al-Qureshi family is, and has been the imperial familiy of [[Sayati]]. The first emperor was a dragon-blood from this family, as were the last three emperors. The current emperor, [[Anji]], hails from the al-Qureshi as well.

This family rules the Sayati empire from [[Shatrah]].

With over 40 the al-Qureshi clan has the largest number of dragon-blooded among its members.
