====== Guardians of Duras ======

As is tradition twelve guardians are assigned to the greater elemental dragon [[Duras]]. Due to the detrimental effect of a miasma in the [[citadel]] these guardians have acquired some defects. These defects appear to be mostly mental in nature, but physical deformities have not been ruled out yet.

This page lists those Guardians of Duras about which we have knowledge. So far we've met 2 out of 12 guardians in person.

This guardian spends his time outside of the Citadel. He has created a small cult dedicated to guarding the citadel, and is under the illusion that everything is well inside the Citadel. He is called the masked guardian due to the physical appearance of his face, which resembles a mask of some kind.

500 people from his cult have been conquered in a small skirmish on [[log771#771, 1 Ascending Air]].

This guardian has been wandering the corridors of the abandoned Citadel since it has been burried under the sand. He has a very weak memory, and forgets everything he experienced in a few minutes. This memory loss manifests itself as an immediate loss once a few minutes are over, requiring much explanation every few minutes.

Zitanen is one of the more-or-less sane guardians of [[Duras]]. The circle has not yet met him in person, but knows of his existence due to [[Amani]] telling them that she went to talk to him.
