Katarina (she is adamant that she be addressed as "Kat") is an attractive woman specializing in assassinations using poison. She was employed by the [[red hand mercenaries]], but swore fealty to [[Azizah]] after her attempt on [[Keryan]]'s life was foiled. This appears to be the same organisation [[Lisetta]] worked for.

She is an Abyssal exalt of a yet unknown caste. Her caste mark appears resembles the shape of that of a Night caste Solar, but she weeps blood from her caste mark. She can not recover motes through normal respiration, but must drink the blood of others to recover motes.

Among Kat's array of supernatural powers are the ability to perfectly disguise herself as someone else, to change into a mass of black gas, and to feign death on command. She is adept at social manipulation.
