Leily joined the [[Serpents of Igani]] two months after being released due to the [[igani#prohibition of slavery]] in [[Igani]]. In the two months before she joined the Serpents she traveled through Igani, and did odd jobs to get shelter and food. When she joined the Serpents she was handpicked by Azizah to become one of the five soldiers that form Azizah's personal [[Serpents of Igani#Fang]].

Leily has a light brown complexion, and wears her black her in a simply pony, as do all four women in Azizah's fang.
