====== Character Creation ======

We use an experience based character creation process. Characters start out with 450xp, their attributes at 1, their virtues at 1, and no abilities or charms. XP is then spent to satisfy all normal character creation requirements and minima.

These are the changes to the Solar Character creation process.


====Step Two: Attributes====
Prioritize the three categories: Physical, Social, Mental

Buy 8 dots in the primary category
  * 5-5-1 = 80xp
  * 5-4-2 = 68xp
  * 5-3-3 = 64xp
  * 4-4-3 = 60xp

Buy 6 dots in the secondary category
  * 5-3-1 = 52xp
  * 5-2-2 = 48xp
  * 4-4-1 = 48xp
  * 4-3-2 = 40xp
  * 3-3-3 = 36xp

Buy 4 dots in the tertiary category
  * 5-1-1 = 40xp
  * 4-2-1 = 28xp
  * 3-3-1 = 24xp
  * 3-2-2 = 20xp

====Step Three: Abilities====
Note Caste Abilities.

Select Favored Abilities.

Buy 28 dots of abilities. At least 10 must be from Caste or Favored Abilities; at least 1 must be in each Favored Ability; none may be higher than 3 without spending bonus xp (meaning at least 28 dots have to be below rating 3).

Caste+Favored:
  * 1 dot: 3xp
  * 2 dots: 4xp
  * 3 dots: 7xp
  * 4 dots: 12xp
  * 5 dots: 19xp

Non-favored:
  * 1 dot: 3xp
  * 2 dots: 5xp
  * 3 dots: 9xp
  * 4 dots: 15xp
  * 5 dots: 23xp

====Step Four: Advantages====
Buy 7 dots of backgrounds. None may be higher than 3 without spending bonus xp.

Buy 5 dots of virtues. None may be higher than 4 without spending bonus xp. Virtues start at 1.

Buy willpower up to at least the sum of your 2 highest virtues. Willpower starts at 5 (so you don't pay for the first 5 dots).

Buy 10 charms. At least 5 must be from favored or caste abilities.
