Amsel was been imprisoned underneath Lake Amsel, near Amsel an See. The guardian [[Glenna]] watched over her imprisonment. After she broke free from a ground sample that was illegally taken by [[Harbourhead]], the circle tracked her down to the bar of the Bent Creek Bad Boys.

Some negotiation later, she agreed to move the massive firedust field under the lake to prevent a war, in exchange for the circle helping her out later.

She is a rival of [[Ahlat]], who took her purview as god of firedust in her absence.
