Preecha Klahananong is a follower of the Dance of the Thrashing Dragon. Her nickname “Ka” is shortened from “kà-nŏm”, which means sweets. In Hong Kong she is also known as “Pancake” under the english speaking members of the community. She is Alastar Mac Caoileann teacher in the Path of the Thrashing Dragon.

Contrary to most adherents of the Dance of the Thrashing Dragon, Ka is unusually reserved. This is reflected in her appearance. Instead of the abundant dress customary for Laughing Rainbows, she often wears a vibrant red Qipao, with her long black hair held up with two lacquered black wooden hairpins, each pin featuring a red tassel.

Cantonese is among the languages Ka has mastered, in part due to her efforts to evict the Cainates from Hong Kong to retake the city for the Flame Court.
