This is crafted by the Fey from parts of Ilfrean and is made entirely out of natural components. Some believe that due to the Items strong connection to Ilfrean it not only possesses parts of an intelligent personality but also appears to be alive. Its handle is a living branch of wood overgrown an ivy that shapes itself around the wielders hand to ensure a strong grip. When sheathed the ivy retracts around the branch and blossoms with small white flowers.
The items blades are thick leaves of a water lily that is grafted on top of the branch. When drawn the leaves combine and form strong razor-sharp edges, which are considered to be adamantine with a +4 enhancement, that can cause serious harm. When sheathed the lily may blossom and attract insects as any normal plant.
Grappling vines:
Instead of making an attack, the ivy lashes out as far as 20ft and grabs on a target. This power functions similar to a bullrush, as follows: The use of this power requires a successful touch attack to lash on, which doesn't prove an attack of opportunity. Secondly, the wielder and the defender make an opposed strength check. If you beat the defender’s Strength check result, you pull him 5 feet towards. If you wish to move with the defender, you can pull him towards you an additional 5 feet for each 5 points by which your check result is greater than the defender’s check result, taking the shortests path possible.
The defender provokes attacks of opportunity if he is moved, for others, as normal.
Intelligent item: Being created by fey with parts of the Goddess Ilfrean, the axe exhibits parts of an intelligent personality. It has Intelligence 17, Wisdom 17 and Charisma 10, has a chaotic neutral alignment and possesses an intense and distinctive hatred against anything unnatural and seeks to defend the servants and the interests of the Goddess Ilfrean from any and all outside interference.
The axe is able to communicate verbally as well as telepathically, speaks Sylvan, Elven and Draconic, has darkvision 120ft and can hear normally. It also has access to Dismissal once per day, can cast Faerie Fire three times per day, has +13 Knowledge (The planes) and +13 Knowledge (Nature). The axe has a caster level of 10 and the DC to resist the magic powers is 13+spell level.
If drawn its cannot be sheathed until a hit has been scored. When draw in pursuit of its cause, the weapon offers its wielder access to a set unique abilities, which can be used once per week. The effects are activated simultaneously and last for 2 minutes. In the first round that the effects are activated, the ivy on the handle grows rapidly and lashes out in all directions, covering the entire threatened area, actively hindering all movement of enemies.
Bulwark of Defence: An opponent that begins its turn in your threatened area treats all the squares that you threaten as difficult terrain. Your reckless vigilance and intimidating demeanour forces your opponents to move with care.
Vigilant Defender: You stand your ground against all enemies, warding the spot where you make your stand to prevent foes from slipping past and attacking those you protect. If an opponent attempts to use the Tumble skill to move through your threatened area or your space without provoking attacks of opportunity, the Tumble check DC to avoid your attacks of opportunity increases by an amount equal to your dexterity modifier.
draw back: Once a year after performing a specific ritual, the wielder is transport to a random layer of the Abyss but not in immediate mortal perril, completely lost and unable to leave, forced to survive on his own for a week. This transportation happens on a metaphysical level, since the Wielder doesn't actually leave his place but appears to be in trance. Once the week has passed the wielder, dead or alive, is returned to his original location, left with no memory of the events transpired in that week. If the ritual is not performed at least once a year, the weapons temporally loses all powers including +4 enhancement until the ritual is performed again.
minor/major soulbound: The innate intelligence of the item requires a close connection between it and the wielder and thus has minor soulbound properties.
