Tiana is from a large family. Her father is Roy Calderon, a somewhat successful country singer of 48. Roy has been married three times and had 5 children of his own. His third wife already had 2 children before they married. Tiana's mother, Roy's second wife, also had a child with another after they divorced. The child was taken away by child services and adopted by Roy's eldest daughter.

• Alecia Montoya: Roy's first wife. Deceased
• Nina Calderon-Romero: Roy's second wife. Divorced. Negative, destructive relationship with Tiana.
• Estela Calderon-Corona: Roy's third wife. Currently happily married. Cares for all Roy's and her own children in a way. Healthy relation with Tiana and knows about her Exaltation.
• Kitty Montoya (30): Tiana's eldest half-sister born from Alecia and Roy. (lesbian in a relationship). Tiana sometimes visits and is good friends with her and her partner.
• Keith Montoya (27): Tiana's half-brother born from Alecia and Roy. Also her general/stage manager. They have a healthy relation and he knows of her Exaltation.
• Nora Calderon (18): Tiana's younger pure sister. Distant from the family, feels a bit like an underdog thanks to Tiana's fame. Relation with Tiana is strained, but not hateful.
• Sabrina Calderon (10): Tiana's half sister from Roy and Estela. Looks up to her famous siblings, wants to become famous too.
• Jordan Romero (8): Tiana's young half-brother. He was taken away from Nina by child services and adopted by Kitty Montoya.
• Rhoda and Ira Corona (22): Twin sister and brother born from Estela and her former husband. They are both successful actors often casted as twins because they resemble each other a lot. Catalys for Roy and Estela meeting. They get along well with Tiana, and they knew each other even before their parents decided to marry.

• Lia Rivers is also a famous child star who co-hosted with Tiana for a long time. They still consider each other friends, but Lia went a whole different route when she turned 18.
• Donovan Whitley is the grandson of Donn Whitley, founder of the Donn Whitley studios. He practically runs the studio these days though his father is still alive and in retirement. Donovan has been like a mentor to Tiana and Lia.
• Tyrone Wynn is a young sportsman whom Tiana is dating. In public their relationship is fine, in private they respect each other but both know they have no romantic feelings for each other.

Tiana's Exaltation is a story she keeps completely to herself. She had found some really hard to find ruin, the location of which she had deducted from some of her older findings. It was the first ruin she had found without a referral from someone. The ruins were somewhat dangerous but nothing she couldn't handle.

While reading some ancient texts on a mural deep inside the ruins she learned of the Solar Exalted, one of the Chosen types of heroes, and their patron the Unconquered Sun. While was mention there were other kinds of Chosen, this text was really mostly about the god-kings. She found it increasingly easy to decipher the old weathered texts until it was as if she was looking at them when they were freshly written, and the room was basking in golden light. When she was done reading her patron god simply told her: “Now you know what you are. It is up to you to find what you must do.” The voice, the presence, was gone the very next moment but she had felt a certain pride in his voice.

It did not take long for the two agents to run into her though. It seemed they were as surprised as she was to find another person here… and even more surprised that the person they found glowing golden light was in fact a celebrity (who their daughters were major fans of). Instead of doing what they should have done they made the mistake of talking to her. They were only mortals, and although they were trained agents they were far from cold-hearted professionals. Had they been they wouldn't have doubted whether it was a good idea to kill a celebrity on the spot. They wouldn't have been convinced to back outside where they could get a better reception so they might ask their superiors. And they most certainly would not have “accidentally” set off a dangerous trap on their way outside, be skewered by arrows and, to add insult to injury, be buried under a weak part of the ruins collapsing on them. Okay, the first bit may have been a valid doubt, and the last bit may have required a little… help.

On her way back to the city Tiana made doubly sure to get back on the road far, far away from the ruins, and to make her tracks impossible to follow, which was quite possible due to the heavy rain that day. The two men may have not have been professional enough to avoid making a few mistakes, it was clear their purpose included not letting the information fall into anybody's hands. They had not expected her there, but they clearly had to kill anybody they found in there… And whoever their superior was, Tiana had no intention of confronting them any time soon, nor had she any desire for them to find her.

Preferably no black widow or other pure hostile relation. I'm open to anything from complicated to exceedingly positive. Preferably non-static. Open to having a Lunar mate appear in the story at all since my characters always seem to miss the boat on that front.

Would be interested in having the mentor background grow throughout the story, though admittedly this is complicated since she is now signed with a record label he doesn't control.
