De Scion focust op een dieper begrip van psionische krachten waarmee de mogelijkheden van verschillende classes worden gecombineerd.

Create Greater Familiar: De Priestess kan een Greater Familiar creëren. In plaats van het summonen van een bestaande animal companion maakt de Priestess zelf een magisch wezen.

Scion Manifesting: The Scion manifests like an Erudite, but gains Bonus Power Points based on Charisma rather than Intelligence.

Scion of the Nine Houses: Scion of the Nine Houses als een bonus feat, ook al voldoet de Scion niet aan de prerequisite feats. De familiar ability is al omvat in de Create Greater Familiar ability. The Erudites ability to manifest and learn domain powers is overwritten by the properties of this feat.

Increased Power Points: The Scion gains a number of bonus power points equal to the square of the highest level power they can manifest (for example, at 3rd level they can manifest 2nd level powers so they gain 4 bonus power points. This is equivalent to casting one power of each level at the lowest power level.

Lore: Een Scion heeft Lore analoog aan Bardic Knowledge van de Bard en Lore van de Loremaster.

Universal Discipline: De Scion krijgt, in tegenstelling tot de Erudite, direct op het reguliere character level toegang tot Discipline Powers en dus niet pas als het volgende spell-level beschikbaar is. De Scion heeft, in navolging van de Scion of the Nine Houses feat, toegang tot powers van alle disciplines.

Slippery Mind (Ex): This ability represents the Scions’s ability to wriggle free from magical effects that would otherwise control or compel her. If a scion with slippery mind is affected by an enchantment spell or effect and fails her saving throw, she can attempt it again 1 round later at the same DC. She gets only this one extra chance to succeed on her saving throw.
