Impi is the former pet pomeranian of Elisabeth-Maria Holstein. She was acquired after making a viscious attack on her owner in the pet store after the latter made a failed attempt to make get her to stop growling agressively. When the pet store suggested the pup might be killed, Elisabeth-Maria bought it and took it home, where it helped to keep the neighbours awake while notifying the world of her disdain for Elisabeth-Maria.

After going with Dillan while Elisabeth-Maria learned how to get along with animals, the Gangrel refused to return the creature which he had since turned into a ghoul. Though Elisabeth-Maria protested, she was unable to get her pet returned to her. Eventually, she was forced to give up on it.
