The al-Qureshi family is, and has been the imperial familiy of Sayati. The first emperor was a dragon-blood from this family, as were the last three emperors. The current emperor, Anji al-Qureshi, hails from the al-Qureshi as well.
This family rules the Sayati empire from Shatrah.
With over 40 the al-Qureshi clan has the largest number of dragon-blooded among its members.
