Zaman al-Safahr is the dragon-blooded leader of the al-Safahr family. He is a very politically minded man, leaving the more military matters to others.

He respects the opinion of Farukh al-Toma, and has a good relation with Irana (whom has a large shrine dedicated to her in Khoy).
