Create Greater Familiar: De Mage kan een Greater Familiar creëren. In plaats van het summonen van een bestaand wezen maakt de Mage zelf een magisch wezen.

Royal Caster: Royal Caster als een bonus feat, ook al voldoet de Mage niet aan de prerequisite feats. De familiar ability is al omvat in de Create Greater Familiar ability.

Armour Use: De Mage krijgt een -20% op Arcane Spell Failure voor armour (niet voor shields)

Lore: Een Mage heeft Lore analoog aan Bardic Knowledge van de Bard en Lore van de Loremaster.

Better Spell Progression: The Mage gains 1 additional spell at each level where they can cast spells.

Improved Armour Use: De Mage krijgt een -30% op Arcane Spell Failure voor armour (niet voor shields) Balance
