An Arch-Bishop is a bishop of higher rank or office than a regular bishop. In the Kindred world, Arch-Bishop refers to the spiritual leader of a territory. More specifically, the Arch-Bishop is the confessor and spiritual advisor to the Prince.

The Arch-Bishop has the power to anoint the Bishop of each clan and is responsible for the spiritual well-being of all Kindred, and the Prince in particular.
